As the Founder of Maya & Maya Inc., I have been an investigator for 29 years, and during this time frame, I conducted hundreds of fraud-related investigations. Thus leading Maya & Maya Inc a multi-state private investigative agency, comprised of a team of dedicated professionals specializing in fraud-related investigations, including insurance fraud, title and mortgage fraud, and corporate theft, with a hands-on approach, the management team I developed manages a diverse team of 30 investigators alongside a comprehensive administrative staff that handles social media investigations, background research, and asset investigations. In addition to overseeing our management team, I am responsible for the strategic management of our advertising efforts, ensuring that our brand remains prominent in the market.
My commitment to delivering superior customer work products is paramount, as I believe in fostering long-term relationships based on trust and excellence. As a Certified Fraud Examiner, I provide expert fraud review on a wide range of issues, including cyber fraud, healthcare fraud, and corporate fraud. This dual role allows me to not only provide expert advice to investigations but also offer valuable insights and solutions to complex fraud-related challenges. Chief Investigator and Chief Operating Officer
As the Chief Investigator and Chief Operating Officer of Maya & Maya Inc., Maria Maya brings over two decades of investigative expertise and operational leadership to the agency. Throughout her career, she has led and participated in hundreds of complex fraud-related investigations, including insurance fraud, title and mortgage fraud, and corporate theft. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and strategic oversight, Maria ensures every investigation is handled with precision, discretion, and a results-driven approach.
In her role as COO, Maria manages the agency’s day-to-day operations, directing a team of 30 investigators alongside a highly skilled administrative staff. Under her leadership, the administrative team excels in social media investigations, background research, and asset discovery – key functions that support the agency’s investigative success. She is committed to fostering a collaborative culture that prioritizes professionalism, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
Beyond her investigative leadership, Maria plays a critical role in organizational strategy, overseeing operational efficiency, compliance, and quality control across all departments. Her commitment to excellence ensures that Maya & Maya Inc. continues to uphold its reputation as a trusted leader in multi-state fraud-related investigations.
Case Manager
As Case Manager for Maya & Maya Inc., Daniella Maya brings over four years of experience and a strong foundation in investigative work. Starting her career as a field investigator, she now oversees both the investigative and social media analyst teams. In this role, she manages case assignments, monitors progress, and ensures that social media intelligence is effectively integrated into broader investigative strategies.
Daniella’s leadership blends hands-on field knowledge with strategic coordination, enhancing the agency’s ability to manage complex fraud-related investigations. She is preparing to resume her Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Project Management, further developing her expertise in overseeing multi-faceted operations and driving successful case outcomes.
Corporate Counsel
Amanda Maya serves as Corporate Counsel for Maya & Maya Inc., bringing a strong legal foundation and a client-focused approach to the agency’s operations. A licensed attorney in California, she holds a law degree from Berkeley Law and a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. Her role ensures that clients receive guidance and support from an attorney’s perspective, adding a crucial legal dimension to the firm’s investigative work.
With her deep understanding of legal processes and investigative needs, Amanda works closely with the agency’s management and investigative teams to align strategies with compliance requirements and best practices. Her insight helps safeguard client interests, strengthen case integrity, and deliver results that stand up to legal scrutiny.
